Advanced Validation Labs Announces DDR400 SO-DIMM Memory Validation and Compatibility Testing to Support the ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON™ 9100 IGP Family

Program Will Ensure ATI's Customers and Partners Have Widespread Access to Reliable, Compatible, Cost-Effective DD400 SO-DIMM Memory

Fountain Valley, CA (October 14, 2003) - Advanced Validation Labs® (AVL), a leading validation and testing services company, today announced DDR400 SO-DIMM memory validation and test services for ATI's industry-leading MOBILITYTM RADEONTM 9100 IGP family of integrated graphics processors. ATI Technologies Inc. is a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative 3D graphics and digital media silicon solutions.

AVL's memory validation and compatibility testing program will ensure widespread availability of reliable DDR memory modules to support ATI's MOBILITY RADEON IGP technology, and help bring technology to market faster. The DDR400 SO-DIMM test process includes the application of high and low voltages, variant thermal ranges, and signal integrity tests to stress and validate specific memory modules.
