Advanced Validation Labs Chosen by ATI Technologies to Validate and Test Memory Modules for
RADEON IGP Family
Program Will Ensure ATI's Motherboard Partners Have Widespread Access to Reliable, Compatible,
Cost-Effective DDR Memory
Fountain Valley, CA (January 06, 2003) - Advanced Validation Labs® (AVL), a
leading validation and testing services company, today announced that it has been chosen by ATI
Technologies Inc. to validate and test memory modules for ATI's industry-leading RADEON IGP family
of integrated graphics processors. ATI Technologies Inc. is a world leader in the design and
manufacture of innovative 3D graphics and digital media silicon solutions.
AVL's memory validation and compatibility testing program will ensure widespread availability of reliable DDR
memory modules to support ATI's RADEON IGP technology, and help bring technology to market faster. The
program will include validation and compatibility testing of DDR266 SO-DIMM and DDR266 un-buffered DIMM
memory modules supporting RADEON IGP 330, RADEON IGP 340, and RADEON IGP 340M, the world's fastest
and most feature-rich family of integrated graphics processors for the Intel®
Pentium® 4, Mobile Pentium® 4-M, and Celeron®
Processor platforms. The test process includes the application of high and low voltages, variant thermal
ranges, and signal integrity tests to stress and validate specific memory modules.
"ATI is committed to ensuring the availability of compatible, cost-effective, and reliable DDR memory
solutions available for our customers worldwide," said Rolands Ezers, manager, continuation
engineering, ATI Technologies Inc. "AVL's proven experience and track record in memory
